Pesticides used to kill insects and other crop damaging micro-organisms can effect the food chain

1. Pesticides can be abosrbed by small aquatic animals

2. Fish eat the animals, which have eaten pesticides

3. Birds eat the fish

4. Pesticides enters food chain
